Message from the CEO

We founded Omotenashi Robotics to use Physical AI to change the structure of industries that are running out of people.

I have worked as an AI engineer building machine learning systems, and at the same time started several businesses that put me on real industrial floors. What struck me there was how many industries have hit a ceiling on growth simply because there are not enough people.

Meanwhile, advances in AI, falling hardware costs and maturing robotics have made it genuinely possible to put robots to work in industry. Yet most robotics companies stop at R&D and proofs of concept; very few cases run continuously inside a real business.

To change that, we chose to go onto the floor ourselves — to run the business and develop the robots at the same time. Our first step was building our own linen supply factory, the kind that keeps hotels running, and turning it into a new factory model powered by robotics and AI.

Robots are not here to take work away from people. They are the technology that lets people put their real value to use.
